One of the most important roles of the Livery Committee is to organise City Briefings for all liverymen and freemen, and other courses for wardens, future masters, and their clerks.
The four City Briefings arranged each year are held in the early evening at Guildhall. The Wardens and Court Assistants City Course (primarily intended for those who expect to become master/prime warden within the next year or so), is an all day course held in September. A half day After Dinner Speaking course intended for a similar audience is arranged each February. And a Briefing for Clerks is held annually. Spouses and partners are welcome at each of these events.
The following are in the programme for 2015:
Clerks' Briefing (19th January), After Livery Dinner Speaking Course (10th February) and City Briefings on Wednesday 18th February, Wednesday 6th May, Wednesday 14th October and Monday 23rd November. The Wardens' Course is to be on Wednesday 30th September 2015.
