Clerk employment matters

This is a new folder, and as such is "under construction".

The idea is to build a central resource of templates relating to clerks' recruitment, contracts, terms of employment, job specifications, appraisal procedures, and the like.

Needless to say, none of this is prescriptive and each company will have its own individual requirements. However, in a desire not to reinvent the wheel, and share the work already done by others, these examples may be of use.

The Secretary of the Fellowship of Clerks, David Barrett <clerk@makersofplayingcards.co.uk>  maintains a list of people who have expressed an interest in future livery clerk vacancies, which can be forwarded on request.

A number of executive search firms specialise in livery clerk appointments. Two examples are:

Hanover Fox    Phil de Glanville

Marylebone Associates   Richard Evans

If you have anything relevant that you are able to share, please email either a Word doc or PDF to  Nigel Pullman, and it will be added to the list below.
